Acquiring an Indiana Disabled Veteran Fishing License

Disabled veterans get a discount on their hunting and fishing license's. There is a new procedure in order to due so. It includes filling out an application called Reduced Fee Hunting and Fishing License for Disabled Veterans. You can download the form at this website www.wildlife.in.gov.

Once the form is completed it must be sent to the following address:
Customer Service Center
401 W. Washington St.
Room W160
Indianapolis, In 46204

The application takes approx. 2 weeks to complete. After that you will need to retain the original document for your records. Each new year will require a new license, this can be obtained at an authorized DNR Licensing facility using the previous years license as validation of your DAV status or the actual application from your records. The cost of a DAV license is $2.75, which can be sent with the application or paid at a DNR representative for licenses after the approved application is returned to you. DNR representative's are Kmart, Walmart or your local bait and tackle shops.
