EZ Towel - New product

EZ Towel is a compacted towel, about the size of 5 stacked nickels in its original form. All you do is add water and watch it grow. Simply unroll the EZ Towel and use it as you wish. Opened up, the EZ Towel is 8 1/2" X 9 1/2", a full sized towel! Each bag of EZ Towels contains 50 towels. Unlike paper towels, EZ Towels are durable, soft and absorbable. One EZ Towel does the work of over 10 paper napkins! It is made of 100% Rayon and is bio-degradable. These towels are great to have in your tackle box especially after applying a dough bait to a hook. You may also purchase at The Bait Barn for .25 each when your going on your trip.

Pflueger has added us to their website, Purefishing.com soon as well

Today I was notified that Pflueger fishing has added us as a link to purchase products from. We have some Pflueger products available through our website and will be adding much more in the weeks to come. Soon PureFishing.com will be updating their database to include The Bait Barn as well. When the major fishing manufacturers list you as a reputable source for their products, that compliment does not come lightly and is greatly appreciated. I have talked personally with Purefishing.com representatives and they understand the importance of helping the small Mom & Pop shops of the world. Big corporations have sucked the life out bait shops all over the country, it's good to see big companies wanting to help small business again.

Just trying to make a living

This David McCullough, I came back last year to help my parents run this bait shop in Indianapolis, IN. They originally had plans to restore a lake behind our property that a company years ago filled in. When one of the companies tried to buy us out my father refused to sell.(This isn't just our shop it's our home)So intern the company behind us ran a sewer line straight through our property to prevent us from having the lake restored and ultimately destroying any chance of expanding our business. The motive was clear if the lake isn't restored the under ground spring in our property is building up yearly and eventually will destroy any and all foundations around the spring until the water can be contained. We just filed a complaint with the city of Indianapolis since there was no easement or final inspection completed on the sewer line. My goal is to get this line removed from our property and install the lake. The DNR has given its blessing in hopes to get the lake dug out. The state has submitted a fine to the company behind us for the unauthorized sewer line. You may be saying right now...What does this have to do with the Bait Barn Blog? It's simple....We need your business! We have slashed prices to compete with the BIG BOYS around town and online. For your convenience I have setup the website for local and national purchases, Order online through my website and pick it up in the store. You may also have the items shipped to you locally at the same price you would pay for gas these days to run around town looking for the items that we sell.
